Default Geo/Prot E/Mo

An Original E/Mo? How could this be?

PVE BUILD:

I was doing some PvE the other day, and basically saved my team at the end of Sanctum Cay because of my leet geomancer inability to die. Afterwards, the other elementalist in the group asked me for some help on how to make a geomancer that utiliizes his monk secondary. I was wondering if anyone's considered using a Geo/Prot Ele Before? It seems like it'd be fairly effective. My only concern was energy management, but since I was goign Geo and Prot, I figured Ether renewal would be ideal.

Geo Skills:
Armor of Earth
Kinetic Armor

Energy Storage:
Aura of Restoration (cover enchant)
Ether Renewal {E}

Prot:
Reversal of Fortune (can be used to power kientic armor)
2 Prot Skills of your choice
Rebirth/Res Sig

Equiptment:
Staff: +5 Energy, +20% Enchant

Armor: I'm not totally sure yet...probably the newer armor in factions will be more ideal. So: Whatever you want.

Idea:
This is basically an Ele using earth armor to be a fairly resilient monk in battle, and with the mass amounts of enchants, Renewal seemed to be ideal to use. This support character should help the whole team. Obviously not for use in heavy enchant stipping areas. For light stripping, Aura of Restoration or any other Prot enchant can cover well (low cost, high duration is idea- think prot spirit)

I was wondering whether a build like this could be use with Life Bond -- does the armor affect how much of the damage hits you, or is that determined when it hits the original target?

*I think* that the original target's armor dertimines it...either way, the damage you take through Life Bond is not much because it is already half of the orig dmg and then reduced by your amount of prot prayers...

I used this build for completing THK with henchies (going from memory here)

E/Mo

Obs Flame
Kinetic Armor
Armor of Earth
Ether Renewal {e}
Life Bond
Balth's Spirit
Rebirth

one other skill...can't remember what it was though (I think it was stone daggers or reversal of fortune - used for the huge heals and energy under renewal and for a constant kinetic renewal)

It worked well to bond the henchies and myself and just tank and whenever I needed a spike to hit obs flame.
